Circular push-pull door handle in bronze, mid-20th century, France.
A simple elegant handle, made up of two separate round pieces; each side with a slightly concave dish and wide stem. The components are in good vintage condition with lots of signs of wear, as one might expect from age and use. There is an aged golden patina - unique to each side according to exposure to cleaning and the air - which we have left as found. The final image - showing a similar piece - is included to illustrate scale.
The handle is set up to use either side of a single door, however you could consult your fitter to enable the two pieces to work on thicker doors...
