About the Item
Radial sunburst Entrance Door in walnut made to order by History Never Repeats LLC. Designed by Aaron Saxton and Maria Armada. Custom produced double doors are as shown 86" tall and 72" wide however we can make the doors to any dimensions and with unlimited variations either in wood species used, technology or appearance. Latter images show the door with bars attached and we've included one image showing a set produced well over 10' tall. Interior doors are a significantly lower cost.
These doors are produced by Aaron Saxton at our workshop in Charleston, WV. The door itself is made to last generations, not years. The door core is a premium construction and the wood used is only architectural grade. This door can as priced can be built to 96" tall or greater (we have done up to 126") if taller is required, please request a quote.
The price includes the door and all associated hardware. Included is the following:
1. Crescent Handles 2 to the exterior and 2 to the interior, 4 total.
2. Radial Walnut applied to both interior and exterior.
3. Mortised doors sweeps that retract upon opening.
4. Door Jamb and header produced in Walnut, threshold in black or mill finish steel.
5. Top and bottom mortised bolts for the inactive door.
6. Sophisticated single entry lock by Accurate which is also the deadbolt. Grade 1 security.
7. Six Hinges applied.
8. Weatherstripping to all Jambs.
9. Completely finished and ready for install. Your contractor only needs to install the door, no hardware purchases required. such as

Custom produced here in the United States. 84" tall x 72" is the common measurement but we can produce in any size, single or double.
The video shows a door with hardware and a smooth textured paint that highlights what is possible for your door with a custom paint selected by the client and produced by Benjamin Moore using Aura Exterior. The customer also had us install a peephole as well and we incorporated this into the vertical bar. High quality construction with the best hinges, woods and hardware that can be used. All hand made. The key to the doors is the use of old Appalachian oaks to produce hard and strong door jambs with our material sourced through local yards and the woods all selected. Critical to a quality door is the true Stave Lumber Core construction which is as good as a wood door can be; strong and resistant to movement using either oak, poplar or pine depending upon the environment.
