About the Item

18th century Spanish solid oak antique rustic door with carved panels and hang forged iron pull adorned with a scallop shell. This door comes from Galicia, the Northern part of Spain. The handle is adorned by the an iron scallop shell, this shell is part of a system to open the door and symbol of the 'Camino de Santiago' from centuries. This door can be displayed as a wall decoration but also interesting to be used as headboard. A good choice to create a table with a custom made iron base and a glass top. Measures: 176 cm H x 69.5 cm W x 3.5 cm D, 8 cm D (including the pull ) // 69.29 in H x 27.36 in W x 1.37 in D (3.14 in D including the pull).
