About the Item
Beautiful 18th century French Louis XV fireback with three Fleurs de Lys. The Fleur de Lys (French Lily) symbolized royalty and aristocracy throughout Europe. The pillars stand for the club of Hercules and symbolize strength and the unknown.
The fireback has a natural brown patina. Upon request it can be made black / pewter colored at no extra cost. The fireback is in a good condition and does not have cracks.
