18th Century French Louis XV period 'Fruits of the Summer' fireplace fireback. With two horns of plenty, a sunflower and other greenery. The fireback is made of cast iron and has a black / pewter patina. The condition is good, no cracks. The horizontal stripes in the fireback are prints of the planks of the wooden mold.
