A large and very sturdy 18th century Georgian footman or kettle trivet. This is a wonderful piece with a brass box shaped top to conduct even heat to the kettle and which stands on beautiful hand wrought iron legs in a scrolled style decoration, highlighted with brass feet and tipped scrolls. This is a handsome piece and would look superb by any fireplace.
