About the Item

Exceptional 19th C. Aesthetic Movement fireplace grate, in very fine original, clean and ready to use condition. The grate features repeating oval bands separated by ball form raisers, terminating in pointed steeple finials. The legs rest on original wheel feet. Design reminiscent of Christopher Dresser, unsigned.
