19th century French neoclassical fireplace fireback cast in the honor of the marriage of P.A. Mouraux and M.F. Vorbe in 1839. The two pillars, called the pillars of freedom, symbolize liberty, one of the three values of the French Revolution. The fireback is made of cast iron and has a natural brown patina. Upon request it can be made black / pewter. The fireback is in a good condition and does not have cracks. This product weighs more than 65 kg / 143 lbs.
