About the Item
18th - 19th century French neoclassical fireback with two pillars of freedom. The pillars symbolize the value liberty, one of the three values of the French revolution.
The fireback is made of cast iron and has a natural brown patina. Upon request it can be made black / pewter at no extra cost. It is in a good condition and does not have cracks.
