Extra large, all handcrafted and great looking copper firewood bucket. Only if you were a very wealthy person in Holland in the early 1800s, would you be able to afford this large, impressive and all-handcrafted bucket. This stunning and tactile antique would be placed on or hung over a fire and the maid would wash both your clothes and your table and bed linen. The wonderful shape and the beautiful coloring (a.k.a. patina) of the hand-hammered copper and wrought iron make this antique bucket extra attractive and decorative. This is one of the largest and most ancient looking antique buckets that we ever had the pleasure of offering. Especially the pronounced copper dovetails on the side and around the bottom make this rustic antique extra stylish and a great pleasure to look at. Because of its great look, its large size and its strength and durability this rare and large specimen from circa 1820 nowadays can be used for all kinds of purposes, both inside and outside. Close to your fireplace and completely filled with firewood it will look amazing, but filled with some of your favourate plants it could look just as marvelous in your greenhouse or garden. This particular specimen is so perfectly hand-crafted that after 200 years (!) it still is watertight. No matter where you decide to place or use this rare antique, it will lift the atmosphere of the space it is in like no modern home accessory ever could.
