About the Item

A handsome Continental 19th century Renaissance st. Wrought Iron fireplace screen. This wonderful blacksmith forged fire screen is raised by four iron scrolled supports. The rectangular screen has a central vertical Iron bar which is attached to forged circular mounts over the mesh. The top is fitted with a central handle, while finials finish both ends of the top frame. Wonderful rich original patina throughout.
