French Louis XIII style fireback with the Arms of France. A coat of arms of the House of Bourbon, an originally French royal house that became a major dynasty in Europe. The house delivered kings for Spain (Navarra), France, both Sicilies and Parma. Bourbon kings ruled France from 1589 up to the French revolution as well some short periods thereafter. The coat of arms consists of 3 fleurs de lys (French Lilies), symbolizing purity and a crown, which stand for royalty.
The fireback has a brown patina. Upon request it can be made black / pewter. It can be used in an open fire or as a backsplash.
