18th - 19th century French neoclassical Period fireback with two pillars of freedom. The pillars symbolize the value of liberty, one of the three values of the French Revolution.
The fireback is made of cast iron and has a natural brown patina. Upon request, it can be made black/pewter at no extra cost. It is in good condition and does not have cracks.
