About the Item

A large antique hand-wrought iron fireplace fire screen with central-access doors. The stylised flower finial above heavy uprights with twist detail standing on arched feet. The fire panel is made up of a pair of lattice and flower doors surrounded by linked c-scrolls. A spark mesh can be fitted if required. Restored. Circa 1800
