About the Item

Replica of an antique original. Produced exactly as it used to be made and they are thus difficult to distinguish from an old original. With a Classic handle. Important advantage of this type of fire screen is that, while elegant, you don't really notice it, you just enjoy the fire. It is of a simple yet elegant simplicity. It is beautiful, rustic and classic. It quietly enhances the fireplace's charm. It is present without taking the attention away from the fire and the other fireplace accessories. The black color of this new handmade screen supports this effect. The holes in the mesh are small enough to protect against the sparks, but large enough to limit the heat radiation of the fireplace as little as possible. The fireplace screen fits in both a classic and a modern interior. For the screen to stand independently you need a width of al least 96 cm (37.8") up to a maximum of 140 cm (55"). At a width of 96 cm (37.8") the screen is 35 cm (13.8") deep and at 140 cm (55") wide it is 17 cm (6.7") deep. Each panel is W x H: 35.5 x 62.5 cm (14.0 x 24.7"). Color: Black (matt) This fireplace screen is handmade and can therefore show imperfections (paint, finish, etc.) that do not occur in industrial production. We cannot provide any guarantees on these imperfections. We can deliver this type of fireplace screen in different sizes. The number of panels can vary from 2 to 6. It is also available in several heights. It cannot be customized, but due to the possible variations it is suitable for most fireplaces. Contrary to popular belief, it is often not necessary for the fireplace screen to cover the entire height of the inside of the fireplace. A height of 50 cm (19.7") is usually sufficient for a fire screen if a quiet fire is lit with dry, suitable wood.
