Exceptional hand wrought iron fireplace tool, in the form of a fork, used as a poker. Executed in the Gothic Revival, Arts and Crafts, Spanish style, this well crafted piece was made in the early 20th century. The piece is in excellent, original, clean and ready to use condition, showing only light cosmetic wear, normal and consistent with age. Reminiscent of the metal work of Samuel Yellin , Albert Paley and other metalwork luminaries, this example is unsigned.
