About the Item

A super quality late Victorian, Edwardian country house club fender. Of typical form, with an ample continuous seat over a decorative shapely brass guard with barley twist supports on a stepped plinth. In perfectly untouched condition, age related oxidation to all the metal sections, the leather is in great condition with one small burn hole as shown in the photos. Dents, knocks and abrasions consistent with age. Internal measurement at base, 46/138cm Seat measures 58/161cm Seat Height 60cm
