This unique and sophisticated Pair of Mid-Century Modernist Stacked Scroll form Andirons in Brass Bronze W/ Faux Bois Textural Detailing by Donald Deskey for Bennet originates from the United States, Circa 1950. They feature a stacked composition in a combination of brass and bronze elements. Two horizontally oriented scroll form brass pieces are placed between three rectangular bronze pieces. The brass is polished and sculptural, while the bronze has a deep and alluring finish with a faux bois texture resembling the surface of bark.
