Handmade by artisans in New York state, this pair of modernist andirons embody the old world craftsmanship and design aesthetic of a bygone era. With their skyscraper style construction, consisting of alternating curvilinear tiers of polished brass and nickel, they suggest modern interpretations of classic Art Deco designs. They are supported by blackened iron streamlined arms that adjoin the backs of the andirons at a perpendicular angle. With their clean modernist lines and luxurious materials, these andirons would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Art Deco to contemporary. Excellent condition.
