About the Item
A beautifully proportioned polished steel English serpentine fire grate. The openwork fret with dragon detail is set between Roman Doric column legs on plinth feet, surmounted by urn finials. Shaped arched fire back. A fire grate from the last quarter of the nineteenth century. Restored.
