About the Item

There are many varieties of antique fire tool sets and the quality varies greatly, as does the materials used for their construction and the decoration which is incorporated into their design. Some are very plain, some are overly elaborate and some are the perfect combination of quality, design and function. These fall into that category with the attractively decorated handles and their twisted stems which create real elegance. They are also however extremely fit for purpose and had clearly been in use constantly for many years before arriving with us, at which point our restorer gave them the quick once over and a good clean, to ensure they are presented in the best possible condition for sale and ready for immediate placement within the home. We think these are lovely examples of their type and would make a great addition to the fireplace in any home. Height 31in. Width 6.5in. (shovel). Depth 2in.
