About the Item

A very pleasing 19th Century Victorian cast iron fireplace insert. A generous outer plate in the form of a horseshoe shape with cast embellishments and an intricate central shell, a funnel chamber back section the three piece curved bars adorned with three cast finials, below the moveable ash pan door. English 1860c The minimum Fireplace width that this insert will take is 33” inches. Overall plate width 36” inches.
