About the Item

A very decorative, early and solid fireback which includes a custom iron display stand. The fireback presenting with ann elaborate entwined and tasseled border for the center scrolled crest with star and crescent moon motifs. The borders with twin pillars, stars and the date 1702. Condition: There are age-related Incrustations which do not detract from the fine and authentic presentation. 36 x H. 33", Depth 11 1/2 at feet- 1 5/8" Please see photos for condition details.
