An early 19th c Regency period antique fireplace in '' Pencil Vein " Italian Carrara marble. The reeded jamb panels to front with conforming frieze. The end blocks of square fielded carvings, with reeded mouldings underneath and underneath the frieze. Stood on square foot blocks. All beneath a plain shelf. The pale marble in contrast to the "pencil" veining. An old repair to left panel. Images are a true reflection of condition.

A well drawn and proportioned early 19th century antique Irish fireplace from the Regency period. The pilaster jambs with cushion mould panels to front, with conforming detail on brackets. The large fielded panelled tablet with cushion moulded panels either side. All beneath a simple plain shelf. Carved in a certain strain of Italian Carrara marble commonly referred to as "Old English" as it was used predominantly in the late 18th , early 19th centuries.
