About the Item

A simple and elegant antique English painted pine fire surround dating back to the late 19th/early 20th century. With its symmetrical proportions and understated design, this reclaimed fireplace will make a stunning focal point of any space. It is currently finished in old paint which would benefit from a repaint or could be stripped back to reveal the natural wood beneath if desired. Design features include moulded jambs and a tablet to the frieze centre.
