An elegant 19th-century French mantel carved from Carrara marble, showcasing the refined curves and ornamentation of the Louis XV style. The serpentine front is centered with a carved shell cartouche, flanked by scrolling foliage and floral motifs, a hallmark of Rococo influence.
The jambs are shaped with soft movement and decorated with vertical fluting, giving the piece height and rhythm. The molded shelf above follows the curving form, creating a graceful balance between the architecture and the ornament.
