The mantel is richly detailed, with a central floral motif framed by delicate beading along the frieze, giving it a sense of depth and symmetry. Each corner block is adorned with carved rosettes, while the legs taper gracefully, featuring scrolling acanthus leaves and fluting that emphasize both movement and structure. The legs rest upon sturdy block plinths, grounding the composition in classical balance.
Adding to its rarity and charm, the mantel includes original air vents on both sides, adorned with ornate circular cast-iron grilles—functional yet beautifully decorative elements that speak to the period’s design ingenuity.
