An antique French figurative Statuary Carara marble mantel in the Louis XV style. This rare and remarkable French chimneypiece features boldly carved female terms and an intricately carved frieze. The serpentine frieze has rocaille decoration and a female bust at the centre of a foliate pendent cartouche.
Originally from a townhouse in Nice, France, removed with permission.
