An antique Early Victorian period Gothic revival, black marble and portoro marble fireplace The half octagonal Nero Portoro marble columns are sat on pure black marble pilasters and plinths. The black marble arched bullnosed interior, features carved floral spandrels and a Portoro frieze on top. The black marble shelf is chamfered and with cut corners, typical of the English Gothic revival style. Circa 1840
