We are delighted to offer this lovely Victorian pitch pine Gesso circa 1860 fire surround A very good looking and highly decorative fire surround, the gesso plaster detailing is exquisite, there seems to be a chap riding a horse, some pigs or boars and so it, its very very nice indeed The condition is period, really its sublime for the age and the patina is the stuff of dreams, its has a rich warm colour throughout Dimensions external Height:- 150cm Width:- 182cm Depth:- 15cm Dimensions internal Height:- 117.5cm Width:- 135.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, This item is available for collection from our Pulborough warehouses RH20 1DF. CONDITION Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
