About the Item
Early 20th century antique wood fireplace mantel with a carved wood center panel. Its hard to tell but I believe the panel is older than the mantel and the mantel was built around the panel many years ago. Salvage from an estate in Western PA. this mantel has a nice simply design which would look great in any room. There a small piece of the carved wood missing from the panel which I believe adds character. The opening is a good size 42" x 66' which should fit most fireplace openings.
