About the Item
An early 20th century circa 1920's English Regency style fireplace surround in Italian Statuary white and Grey Bardiglio marbles with Ormolu mounts.
The Jambs stood on square foot blocks with reeded moulded panels, surmounted by square end blockings with Ormolu mounts of Laurel leaf. The frieze again with conforming moulded reed panels and centre plaque with Ormolu mount in crossed quill with ribbon ties.
All beneath a slim and reeded shelf
