A fine quality cast iron contracoeur insert. The outer moulding with rope detailing with decoratively cast foliage and flowers to base. The centre with oval rosette paterae with beading and foliage. French, 19th century. Internal dimensions: Width - 655mm, Height - 603mm Width At Front: 1065 mm 41 ⅞" Height: 830 mm 32 ⅝" Depth: 110 mm 4 ⅜"
