French Arch Top Fire Back. Armour and Eagle
The fire back has a large crest or shield in the centre that is surrounded by leaves and flowers. Above the crest is a helmet from a suit of armour and an eagle or phoenix. The fire back has a shaped top and a raised border around the edges. The fire back is solid and heavy but is reclaimed and therefore has some slight signs of use and wear. The Fire back is in good condition for its age and there are no cracks breaks or chips, it is 23” high, 29.5” wide and 1” thick
