An early 19th century English polished steel firebasket. The ornately pierced fret and centre with engraved pateras, cylindrical dogs on ball feet, surmounted by engraved finials. A large and imposing piece. Width At Front: 1125 mm 44 ¼" Width At Back: 825 mm 32 ½" Height: 630 mm 24 ¾" Depth: 515 mm 20 ¼"
