About the Item

Unusal large pair of hand wrought Iron and steel Arts Crafts andirons in good original condition. Dating to the late 19th Century they are very much in the manner of Aesthetic Movement or Arts Crafts architects such as Norman Shaw or W E Nesfield who designed houses in the "Old English" style. They would have originally been in a large inglenook fireplace.
