About the Item
Late 19th century carved wooden fireplace mantel salvaged from a historic New Haven CT. estate. This is a beautiful hand carved wooden fireplace mantel that instead of a mirror above it has three intricately carved wooden panels. I believe the wood is mahogany and its in very good condition but it does have a small chip in the center carving shown in the photos. The fireplace mantel has a nice large opening Height 43" Width 70.5" and would look great in a family room or library this is a really nice mantel.
