This 19th century fireplace in Louis Philippe style is perfect to fit a stove insert or higher firebox. The Height can be adapted to a square firebox.
The bicolor brings an extra authentic character to this original decor fireplace mantel.
The Jambs are curved.
In great condition and ready to install.
We can cut the back for against wall installation.

The mantel is made from Sandstone from the “Massif de Vosges” called Grès Rose, pink sandstone.

It’s unusual shape and nice paneling combined with the leaf decorations make this a modest yet strong decorative piece.
It is unrestored, it has some chips and imperfections but this only adds to its beautiful pantina.
