One of a kind Italian pair of sensational wall fountains in marble.
This amazing monumental pair of grand fountains for a bespoke luxury lifestyle design are just 2 spectacular baroque style antique pieces of 19th century.
They are similar executed with slight difference in marble teint.
Upper Part:
- The Sarrancolin marble is perfectly executed. Technic known as book matched.
- Jaune de Sienna marble frieze.
- Statuary marble for the white pieces with a very expressive face with on the top the hearth is the romantic detail.
The Basins:
- Each one is made out of one solid piece of the famous Royal French Sarrancolin marble.
The Base:
- Combination of solid white statuary marble and Sarrancolin marble.
Sarrancolin marble was exploited and used extensively under the reign of Louis XIV. From 1692 they were considered “royal quarries”. Sarrancolin marble featured all the reds with grey-brown parts and was used worldwide for high-end interior design.
