About the Item

A grand antique mid 19th century hand-carved Portland stone fountain with intwined fish. Previously a fountain from the grounds of the Royal Observatory, in London, its large scale and unusual design would certainly make a brilliant new addition to any property. Incorporating Victorian and Georgian style, it could be used as a decorative garden piece or fountain centrepiece, as it was originally. Three heads are showcased to the sides and front, with tails spirting from the top. This magnificent structure sits on top of a thick stone slab.
