About the Item

Trapezoidal marble wall fountain with a rectangular basin featuring gadrooned sides and leaf ornamentation. The basin rests on a pedestal adorned with a satyr protome, its hair entwined with vine leaves, flanked by lion masks with extended tongues. The stepped base is decorated with acanthus leaves. Above the basin rises an antique-style reproduction of the drunken satyr holding the wine flask—executed as a fully sculpted, richly detailed figure with a tree stump and additional vine leaf decoration.
