About the Item

Originally used in a French brasserie during the late nineteenth century, this white enameled cast iron bistro table or cafe table features a solid white oval marble top with grey veining and a beveled edge. Scrolled iron legs support the top and are joined by an X-stretcher that provides additional stability to the piece. The stretcher is marked in the center by the foundry DAD. This piece is ideal as a garden table or in a breakfast nook and is sure to bring the charm of French cafe life to any home, circa 1890.
