About the Item
One of a kind steel rebar and concrete table. Perfect as an outdoor bar or console.
Made by a Colorado artist and welder in the late 1990s. Top is concrete and base is sculpted and welded steel. A stellar and sturdy Industrial art piece that functions beautifully to display a huge floral in an entry, serves as a standing bar top table in an outdoor space or as a small bar height table for 2-4 seats.
The unusual sculptural profile feels soft and bulbous, defying the "hardness" of the materials chosen. This would be a great table to place in an alcove indoors, especially if it was designed to accommodate the table's proportions in the pre-construction phase. It would also be wonderful at a visual terminus outdoors. The table has been in constant use since it was created, and bears beautiful patina due to the natural aging process.
