About the Item

Set of four early dining chairs by Walter Lamb dating from the late 40s or early 50s, predating his work with Brown Jordan. The set consists of two armchairs and two side chairs that have a thick tubular bronze frame. Each chair has a canvas seat and backrest that are laced tightly to the frame with sailcord. 
 Measurements Armchair: 22” width x 25” depth x 35.5” height; 19" seat height, 26" arm height. Side chair 19” width x 22.5” depth x 33.75” height; 18.75" seat height. Condition  Good vintage condition; bronze has been cleaned and carries an age-appropriate patina. Canvas and rope ties replaced in the last 10 years in accordance to the original design.
