This pair of fu dogs sit at attention as a watchful guardian of the home. He exudes a remarkable sense of life and energy - crouched on all fours with curly hair and a lively expression. A bell hanging around his neck indicates that he's been domesticated. Also known as shizi, fu dog lions such as this were traditionally placed beside the entrance or threshold of a grand home or sacred space.
