Here's a beautiful and unique way to accent your indoor or outdoor garden space with this treasure from Japan! This is a two-piece carving of one of Japan's great historic architectural forms - the minka farmhouse crafted as a wonderful and useful lantern. Carved from solid granite and sourced from an old Japanese garden, it measures 18 inches high and 20 inches wide , is portable (two pieces), and boasts a wonderful vintage patina. This is a fine quality example with an amazingly detailed roof line - visually beautiful and appealing . Many of our customers place oil candles inside the main section making a romantic and enjoyable decorative accent for entertaining friends and family. It's a perfect choice for your indoor or outdoor garden space. Notice the very nice patina from age. This lantern is one-of-a-kind and comes from an old Japanese Nagoya area garden.
