About the Item
This large run of dado height reclaimed oak wall panelling was sourced from a large country house near Reading. The set is comprised of 12 individual panels of varying widths (see below for details of dimensions) alongside 6 lengths of dental capping and a small selection of spares that can be used for alterations and repairs. Together, the panels and capping stand at 151cm tall, creating a long run of 16.9m dado height wooden wall panelling. This makes a beautiful feature in the large hallway of a period home or in a contemporary setting to instil a traditional feel.
Dating from the Edwardian era, this reclaimed oak wall panelling is approximately 120 years old and is detailed with moulding evocative of the era. It is pale oak in colour with a varnished finish. The panels are in very good condition with the majority of skirting attached. There are few age-related splits to some panels as well as historic holes for sockets.
A video showcasing all 12 panels, 6 lengths of dental capping and spare parts is available – please enquire for details.
