About the Item
An Italian wall relief panel in richly colored Tuscan terra cotta, inspired by the celebrated works of Luca della Robbia. Beautifully three-dimensional and hand crafted, this sculptural panel reflects the classical harmony and devotional character of the Renaissance.
The original series of ten panels was commissioned in 1431 and carved in marble, illustrating verses from Psalm 150. These historic works were first installed in the Cathedral of Florence and later transferred to the Museo dell’Opera del Duomo. This terracotta interpretation captures the depth, rhythm, and architectural presence of the original reliefs, making it a striking statement for both interior and exterior settings.
