About the Item

A large 19th century Dutch pedestal table in an unusual triangular shape to fit nearly anywhere, elevating precious artwork, décor, or greenery. Please note its original fossil marble top does show a few surface scratches, see the image gallery for more information. The base of the pedestal is constructed of paneled wood that has been hand-painted in a faux marble finish to mimic carrara and porphyry or red marble that is rather convincing at first glance, with an ebonized (painted) plinth at the floor.
