An impressive and unique French 19th century Louis XVI st. Brèche d'Alep marble and ormolu pedestal column. The pedestal is raised by a fine square base with a most decorative stepped design. The square elegantly tapered central support displays a wonderfully executed mottled design and is decorated with a decorative richly chased wrap around foliate band and finely detailed top mounts at each side. Above is the rectangular display tier showcasing the beautiful Brèche d'Alep marble. Base Dimension: 15.75".
